Fischer dynamic storage heaters work by producing heat direct from a chrome and nickel heating element that is cased inside a 40mm chamotte clay core. The heating element warms the clay core to up to 3000c. Whilst the clay core stores heat, a natural convection process begins. Cool enters the heater through vents located at the bottom of the heater. This air is warmed as it travels through the internal areas of the heater. Warm air is then passed into the room from the top vents.
The heater is controlled by a wireless temperature controlled thermostat. The above process only happens when the thermostat reads that the room temperature has lowered below what is set.
